What's 'mine' is mine and what's "yours" is yours. Well, not entirely but I am sure of this ...THE Lord is MY Shepherd. I have a personal relationship with Him. All believers have a personal, one on one relationship with Christ. I feel badly for those who do not know Christ the same way...I pray for many to come to know him.
For more on this subject read "Mine". You will find it on the devotional link at the top of the page.

Did you pray for our president today?
Politically speaking...you may not agree with our president...that isn't the issue...regardless of what side of the aisle you are on, we are instructed to keep him and all others in authority in prayer...especially for their salvation. A lot rides on the decisions he makes....yet, he is under the control of God so be obedient to His word and keep President Obama and his advisors in prayer.
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for ALL in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." I Timothy 2:1,2
Word for the day...
"Is any one among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful?
Let him sing praise." (RSV)
[Never put limitations on what God can do...never make God too small for your circumstances...all things are possible - believe.]
Our Lord sacrificed everything for us when he died on the cross...throughout the Gospels we are instructed to give to the poor; assist the widows out of all that we have. We are even offered treasures in heaven by giving out of our abundance.
This is a challenge that you give something...any something by not procrastinating. Do it now. Honor God by following his word and his example.
Perhaps you have never made the decision to make Jesus Christ your Savior. If you are hoping for eternal life in heaven; before you can grow in faith; you must first have a relationship with the Son of God.
Believe…and Receive the Promise of Eternal Life - Jesus Christ.
“OVER” (Above in position – Webster)
ONE WAY:“Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”John 14:6 VICTORY:“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”I Corinthians 15:57 ETERNAL LIFE:“For the wages (payment) of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”Romans 6:23 RECEIVE:“...but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”John 1:12
“COME” (To draw near – Webster)
CONFESS: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”Romans 10:9 OWN:“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you (the believer), which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”I Corinthians 6:19 MAN:(Man cannot save himself)“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”Ephesians 2:8, 9 EVERLASTING SECURITY IN CHRIST: “I am he that liveth, and was dead: and behold, I am alive for evermore…”Revelation 1:18
- OVERCOME - “…this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”I John 5:4
